FAQ

What is your service area?

We are based in Abington Township and provide evening and weekend walking and case-by-case house sitting to Abington Township and surrounding areas. Including, Abington, Jenkintown, Elkins Park, Rockledge, Huntington Valley, Willow Grove and more. Not sure if we cover where you are? Reach out we may be able to accommodate you.

What are your service hours?

My business is no longer full-time. Early summer 2025 Wizard of Wag relocated from South Philadelphia. Services are only now available weekday evenings 7pm-10pm, and on the weekends all-day. House sitting is taken on case by case, but any week day mid-day walks would need to be covered by another walker.

Can I get a walk or visit at a specific time, noon for example?

Unfortunately, exact times are not guaranteed. Morning, mid-day, late-day, and evening walks are all available. We will try to get a time closest to your preference, but we need to remain flexible to allow changes to travel, weather, etc.

I have a variable work schedule and my hours can change quickly, can you accommodate this?

We understand a variable schedule and we want to help. We will do our best to work around your schedule and will be available to discuss schedule changes as needed. We are flexible and reliable and want to work with you!

My pet has special needs or needs medication can you provide this care?

We love pets of every age, need, and quirk. We have experience with administering medication, expressing bladders, working with leash aggressive dogs, and any other extra attention your pet might need. We can help reinforce your dogs training as well. If we think you’re dog needs care outside the scope of our services we may recommend a trainer or dog behavioral expert. You can read some of our clients personal experiences on the Testimonials page to learn more about the care Wizard of Wag provides.

What happens in event of extreme weather?

In the greater Philadelphia area we get rain, snow, wind, and heat which can really make walking a drag. In the event of snow we will do our best to reach your pets safely and ask for flexibility in time for travel. In extreme cold or heat we cut outside time a little shorter, but spend the rest of our visit time inside spending some quality time together.
